Our tours pass by the major attractions in every city. In some cities, due to the protection of historical buildings or pedestrian areas, the bus tour does not go through the city centre. In certain cities, we provide walking tours in areas where our buses cannot access the historical city centre. We highly recommend the walking tours, as they are a great way to complete your visit.
City Sightseeing offers many stops for each route. Each stop is located near a main attraction visitors can explore. Travelers can hop on and off the route as many times as they please with a valid ticket and organise their visit at their own pace. Our recommendation is to complete the whole loop first to get a general idea of the city and then select the most interesting stops to discover the city in depth.
Most tours usually last one hour. In bigger cities, the tour can last up to an hour and 20 minutes. In some destinations you have up to 2 different routes to visit the city.
No. The tour bus service is only carried out within the cities. Furthermore, the service follow an established route(s).
You can recognise us by our red buses. Each bus has “City Sightseeing” plus the name of the destination on it. In addition to the logo, each bus has the city’s main attractions on its sides.
Each route is clearly marked on the map with different colours. In some cases, each route is designated a specific vehicle (minibus, boat, or train), which is clearly marked with the line. You will find all the information at the stops and on the map. Furthermore, our staff is always at your disposal to answer any questions you may have.
The number of stops on each route depends on the destination. Each bus route usually has between 10 and 20 stops, depending on the city. Boat tours, for example, may have fewer or no stops.
Our buses run approximately every 30 minutes. Depending on the season, the frequency can vary. Usually the frequency is 15-20 minutes in high season and about 60 minutes in low season.

In most destinations, the tour runs everyday of the week. However, the tour in Jerez de la Frontera only operates from Monday to Saturday. There are some special cases, such as in Santander or Antequera, where the tour only runs some days of the week in certain months. Tour availability may be found on our website on the respective city page. If there is a change to any of the operating days/tims, it will announced on the page of each destination, as well as on social media.
You can start the tour at any of our stops. You just have to show your voucher to the bus driver or staff on board to start enjoying the best panoramic views each city has to offer.
We recommend printing the voucher before arrival at the stop. Regardless, you can present the online voucher where the following information is displayed clearly: validity date, number of people, and service purchased.
Yes. Our red buses feature multi-lingual, audio commentary so you can learn about the city. When you get on the bus, we will give you a pair of headphones so you do not miss anything during the tour. Normally, the bus stops in a city are clearly marked. However, in some cities bus stop signage is not allowed due to traffic regulations set forth by the municipal government. The schedule of the tours varies from city to city. Normally, buses begin to run around 9:30-10:00. The last departure varies according to the season. For more information, you can check the schedules on the page of each city or in our mobile application.
Each destination has different ticket types. The most common tickets are the 24-hour and 48-hour tickets. The validity time starts counting from when the ticket is validated on the tour. That is, if you use your ticket for the first time at 5:00 p.m., you can continue using it for 24 or 48 hours more. There are cities in which the duration of the ticket is 1 day, that is, within the day of purchase. In other destinations, you will have the option to buy only one tour. You can see the options on the page of each city.
Our online tickets are valid for three months from the date of purchase on the website.

Once you exchange your ticket, you must keep it until its validity ends. Once finished, you can keep your ticket and present it when purchasing tickets for your next City Sightseeing tour to get a 10% discount. The validity period for the discount is one year.
You can usually pay by credit card at the main stops and at different points of sale, but not all buses are able to process credit card payment. On this website you can easily pay with a credit card.
